Once one commits then providence moves, a very much shortened quote from William Hutchinson Murray and one that proves to be so true, every time I’ve committed myself to action.

Megan Macedo presented her 2019 – 21 day writing challenge as a process and an antidote to perfecting and procrastination. Both areas I needed to work on.

Megan described the writing challenge as a generative process that would help me dig into the recesses of my mind to discover the clarity and wisdom that was hiding there.

Committing to responding to a daily prompt, writing and then sharing my work with a diverse but like minded group, was an incredibly valuable experience.

The challenge was tough but the rewards returned a value far great than the registration fee, and had the event been free, I know I wouldn’t have committed myself in the same way. I had some skin in the game so to speak.

The reward for the modest investment and commitment has been to provide me with insights that have allowed me to start communicating with my audience on a level I couldn’t have achieved before the challenge.

I’d heard about the theory and understood it, but I hadn’t committed to actually doing it, the challenge and the group provided me with the drive, the forum to deliver it too, and the feedback and encouragement I needed.

I’m hoping that my testimonial encourages you to commit, I’m convinced providence will move for you too, as it has for me.
